Hey there. It's me, I don't really know what to call myself right now as I'm still unsure if I want to remain anonymous but we'll get to that later.

I haven't posted on this blog in a while and lately, I was even considering deleting it. For some reason though, when I looked back at my social media and all the views I had gotten, comments I'd received, people I'd met,  I realised I couldn't give this up. I have always loved writing, I have always wanted a way to express myself, my feelings, my views. I feel like as I've matured this blog should too. This is the way for me to do it. Let's get into my reasons for being unmotivated and uninspired.

Reason 1.
This blog had become so much effort and I was trying to turn it into something it wasn't, which is a beauty blog. I know, I know it's called beautyblogrx but, that name just doesn't suit it. It doesn't suit me. I do love makeup and beauty but that's not all I'm about. I have wanted to change my blog name for a while now and as I have decided on a name you can expect that to be coming soon. The new name will be something that could cover a broad range of subjects and hopefully is easy to relate to.
However, a blog name is usually different from a profile name (the name I'm called online) currently my blog and profile name are the same and I am unsure whether it will also be the same as my new blog name or to change it to my real name (just the first name) but I worry of people discovering this blog. I am not a beauty guru, I'm just a teen with a passion and dream to be successful out there in the big bad world.

Reason 2.
I wanted too much too quickly. You can't just start a blog and expect it to take off. You can't make a triple-figure income in just a few months. You can't have a huge following within weeks of blogging. But I wanted all that, I lost sight of what I loved doing and wanted more and more too quickly. I'm just a teen in her bedroom who has a website that she runs herself. Success story? No, hard work and dedication with a side order of passion will get me to where I want to be. It just took me a while to understand that.

Reason 3.
I'm an Irish teen who lives in Britain (I don't feel comfortable calling myself British) and I go to secondary school. Blogging while going to school every day, managing and pre-writing tweets every morning, attempting to edit a copyright-free picture to match with the rushed post I'd just written? I couldn't do it. It was too much. As I approach Year 10 this September, school will be my first priority but I still want to blog. Just remember I may not always have time.

Reason 4.
The Internet, the world wide web, google, blogging. These are things that I thought I knew a lot about, being your typical teen, but realised I'm clueless when it comes to the technical aspects of Blogging. I had to attempt to learn HTML, read up on SEO, manage tags, deal with analytics and work out google webmaster. I'm not tech savvy and my whole website was put together to look like this by me to the best of my ability but sometimes I just struggle with these things. I will take the time to learn them and I'll have to if I'm going to successfully change my blog name and URL and make sure all previous links redirect here. Sounds complicated? Well, it probably will be.

I'm not really expecting anyone to follow me on this journey but if you are let's see where it takes us. I'm not perfect and I don't expect to be, I just want to build this into something I can be really proud of. I don't know what sort of posts you can expect to see here but hopefully, it's something that I poured my time and effort into.

Follow all my social medias (which will go through some  changes too) which you can find in the sidebar for updates on the blog name and other things.
love you all x

Feeling very disappointed with myself because I had this whole 'New Year' intro planned out but posted something different and it's already mid/late February. Also, apologies for not posting often I have been really struggling with time-keeping lately x

I've been writing this review for a couple of weeks now giving me a chance to see how the tester products work. The following products I will be reviewing are The No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm and The No7 Protect & Perfect Moisturising Eye Cream. I think it's great that I'm trying these products because it's never too early to start anti-ageing.

Welcome! This little corner of the internet belongs to a teen blogger who loves to write and share her ideas with the world (or whoever's reading). You'll find mainly Beauty and Lifestyle posts here but, as you can see I write a little bit of everything ;)

Some of these products are a little outdated, Don't worry I'm totally aware, I will try to link some of the products. When I went onto Boots UK I noticed most of the products now say ADVANCED. I am not reviewing the ADVANCED formula but most of the links will likely say ADVANCED. I may be able to find exact links from Amazon. Apologies in advance ;)

No7 Age Defence Cleansing Balm

I was really excited to try his product because it is basically a makeup remover. I have only ever used face wipes to remove my makeup so it was a great chance for me to try out alternatives. I couldn't find this product ANYWHERE for some reason, so I found a No7 alternative instead. Check it out here.

I am totally in LOVE with this product, Definitely my favourite of them all. I applied it with a cotton pad to remove my makeup and I have to say it removed lots more than I expected it too and I didn't even have to use that much product. I did still use a wipe just to get the remainder off but it left my skin feeling very refreshed. I'm genuinely upset I couldn't find a link for it. If you try the alternative linked please comment saying whether it worked for you!

No7 Protect & Perfect Moisturising Eye Cream

I have also not used many eye creams before but I was open to trying a new one. I admit, I didn't stick to applying it religiously but I managed to get a basic opinion of it. Check it out here

The product came in a tiny tube with a small end making it easy to apply to my under eyes. On the front, it said 'For younger looking eyes'. I didn't notice a HUGE difference but I can certainly say it helped improve the bags under my eyes. I would say try it if you have dark under-eye circles like me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read you don't know how much I appreciate it. I will try to go back to posting every weekend. Huge thanks for being supportive and understanding that sometimes things come up preventing me from posting. Trying to get organised again.

I hope you enjoyed this short post and don't forget to share, comment and follow all my social medias which you can find on the sidebar or on my 'contact' page.
